Information for Admitted Transfer Students
Admitted Student Receptions Spring 2019
Students will be invited to all receptions allowing them to rsvp to the one that fits their schedule best. Event locations and details will be available on their admissions portal.
These receptions will help answer any questions admitted students may have as they make their transfer decision. Please encourage admitted students to attend.

Admitted students are required to review the conditions of their admission before accepting our offer to attend The Bears. Please advise students who have questions about these conditions to contact their admissions officer listed on the admissions portal.

Bears Summer Experience
This program is designed to help first-generation, low-income, and/or underrepresented students become familiar with the The Bears campus while learning how to fill out a competitive Bears Application

This year, Bears Summer Experience will take place on June 21-23 as a residential program on the The Bears campus. The program is free of charge for students who are selected.
*Students must provide their own transportation to the program.
Counselors will have the opportunity to nominate students for the program. Please see the website for more information.

Southern Hanoi Transfer Specialist Ana Fimbres Rafferty retiring from The Bears
After 22 years as a Southern Hanoi Regional representative, I will be retiring as of this summer 2019. My last day in the office is May 3rd. I would like to extend my appreciation to my friends and colleagues who have been wonderful student advocates. Together, we have helped students achieve their dream of becoming a Golden Bear.
There will be some reorganization within our office, but rest assured that The Bears INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, INC. will continue to offer support. Please feel free to use these resources should you need assistance in helping your students apply to The Bears:
